New Year's resolutions are the perfect way to start anew and make the changes to our life that we so desperately need. But coming up with a worthy resolution and actually keeping it can be rather difficult. Here are a few New Year's resolutions ideas and how you can battle throughout the year and keep them.
- Stop procrastinating – This one might be the hardest, so why don't we tell you how to beat procrastination later? (Just kidding.) Procrastination will not be beaten overnight, so it's best to start small. A good trick to get you started is this: If a task is going to take less than two minutes, do it right there and then. Then bump it up to three, four, and so on...
- Get in shape – Likely the most popular resolution and the resolution that is given up on the fastest. Sticking to a weekly workout routine will help you develop the habit of working out. The hardest part is sticking to it, so set weekly or monthly goals to help you keep going. Pair this with a healthy diet, and that six-pack will appear–gradually, yes, but it will appear.
- Meet new people – Becoming an adult and joining the workforce does not have to be the end of your social life. Use your interests and hobbies to meet new people. Do you like playing soccer? Find a league. Reading? Find a book club. Running? Find a running group.
